- Persian origin and Persian design are not the same thing. This group includes rugs recorded as originating in Persia alongside Persian-inspired designs with other recorded origins, so check the origin on each rug page or ask us.
- Wool pile is the hard-wearing choice for everyday rooms; silk and wool-and-silk pile shows finer detail and suits rooms with lighter foot traffic.
- Antique pieces are one-off older rugs. Any circa date we hold is on the rug page, and they are best seen in person.
