Antique rugs & carpets
Explore the older rugs and carpets recorded as antique in our catalogue. Each piece has its own drawing, colour and wear; use the photographs and recorded details to make a shortlist for viewing in Wembley, London.
257 rugs shown online. Page 1 of 6. The showroom confirms every price. For a rug marked Price on request, call or email with its rug number.
Choosing an antique rug
- Read the individual rug's recorded origin and any circa date. A circa date is approximate; where the catalogue does not record an age or origin, ask the showroom rather than relying on the pattern alone.
- Condition matters as much as appearance. Ask about wear, repairs, edges and fringes, and view the piece in person if these details affect your choice.
- Tell us where you plan to use the rug and how much foot traffic it will receive. We can discuss the suitability of the particular piece and what to consider when choosing an underlay.
- Bring room dimensions and photographs to a viewing. Older rugs can vary in proportion, so compare each piece's recorded measurements rather than assuming a standard size.
Note the rug numbers you like and call +44 20 8903 9039; we will have the pieces ready to unroll at the Wembley showroom.
